How much does reformer Pilates cost in Glasgow?

By Ellie · Founder & Instructor, La La Pilates Glasgow · STOTT® trained

Align-Pilates reformer with straps at La La Pilates, a reformer studio in Glasgow city centre

As a rough guide, group reformer Pilates classes in Glasgow typically cost between £15 and £30 per class, depending on the studio, the class size and whether you buy classes in packs. At La La Pilates in Glasgow city centre, new clients start with the Intro Offer — 3 classes for £60 (£20 a class, one per person) — then single classes are £25 and packs run from £69 for 3 to £199 for 10 (£19.90 a class), with no contracts or memberships.

Why prices vary so much

  • Class size. This is the big one. A twelve-bed studio can charge less per head; a 4-reformer studio like ours costs a little more per class because you're effectively buying a semi-private session — the instructor sees every rep you do.
  • The equipment. Reformers are expensive, specialist machines that need space and maintenance — part of why reformer classes cost more than mat classes anywhere in the city.
  • Instructor training. Comprehensive certifications (like STOTT®) take hundreds of hours. Cheaper classes sometimes mean shorter-trained instructors — worth asking about.
  • Location and extras. City-centre convenience, small touches, events — they all show up somewhere in the price.

What La La Pilates charges

Our pricing is deliberately simple — packs, no contracts:

  • Intro Offer — 3 classes for £60 (new clients, one per person — the recommended starting point)
  • Single Class — £25
  • 3 Class Pack — £69 · 5 Class Pack — £109 · 10 Class Pack — £199 (5 and 10 packs include a £5 code to share with a friend)
  • Private sessions — 1:1 £35 · 1:2 £65 · 1:3 £87 · 1:4 £108 — limited availability, listed with the group classes on Momence or by email for a specific time
  • Gift vouchers — via Momence or by emailing us

Current pack and single-class prices are always on our pricing section and Momence page.

How to get the most from your budget

Buy packs rather than singles, share the £5 friend code when you buy a 5 or 10 pack, and aim for a consistent weekly slot rather than occasional drop-ins — consistency is what turns classes into results, which is the real economy.

Is reformer worth the premium over mat classes or the gym?

Depends what you want. If it's guided, low-impact, full-body strength work with an instructor who knows your name and your dodgy shoulder — a small reformer studio does something a £25/month gym can't. Many of our members do both: gym for cardio, reformer for strength, control and posture.

How much is a single reformer class in Glasgow?

Across the city, typically £15–£30 depending on the studio and class size. Pack pricing almost always beats single-class pricing — our £60 Intro Offer works out at £20 per class, and the 10 Class Pack at £19.90.

Do I have to sign a contract?

Not with us — single classes and packs only, no memberships or contracts. Some studios do run memberships, so always check the small print.

New clients: 3 classes for £60 — all group and beginner classes, no contract.
